Maths Adaptation service

We understand that many children who move to the UK or grow up in non-English-speaking families often face difficulties adapting to maths in English. That’s why we offer a special Maths Adaptation Service at Kidmathclub — designed to support students in bridging this gap with the help of our teacher, Elena Slesarenko, who explains UK maths in Russian.

Maths Challenge

Math Challenge is a 40-week enrichment program for ages 7–17, offering level-based weekly tasks that build problem-solving skills and mathematical depth. Each week, students complete a challenge and send it to a teacher for personalised feedback.

Artem Vorozhtsov is a maths educator, author, and machine learning engineer. A graduate of MIPT, he’s taught computer science at university level, written books on algorithms, and worked at top tech companies like Yandex. Artem brings deep expertise and a passion for making maths both creative and meaningful.

Elena is a passionate math tutor who helps Russian-speaking children in the UK (Years 5–9) confidently adapt to the British curriculum. She teaches in Russian while using English materials, easing the language transition and boosting academic success. With a flexible, supportive approach and personal experience guiding her own child through this journey, Elena specializes in reducing stress, filling knowledge gaps, and turning students into confident math learners.

Russian curriculum Designer focused on Russian-Language Maths Education for Early Years Students

Anastasia is a passionate and caring primary school teacher who specializes in early childhood education. With a warm and playful teaching style, she creates engaging lessons full of creativity, discovery, and encouragement. She tutors Maths in Russian from Year 1, prepares students for Russian Maths exams, and supports UK exam prep (7+, 8+), including selective school admissions.
