Maths Adaptation in Russian

Service Description

We help Russian speaking schoolchildren in Years 5 to 9 who have recently begun their education in the UK overcome the differences between the maths curriculum of their home country and the local British system. • one-on-one online lessons in Russian, gradually introducing English mathematical terminology to build the student’s vocabulary. • exercises and assignments in English to help children become familiar with the wording used in British textbooks and classrooms. Lessons are designed to cover topics the student is expected to know but may have missed due to differences in their previous curriculum. The content and pace are tailored to each student’s individual needs. Our goal is to make the transition between the two educational systems as smooth as possible and to maintain the child’s interest in mathematics despite the change in language and teaching approach.
