Maths Circle Y6
Sparking Curiosity, Creativity & Confidence in Young Minds.
Service Description
Group lessons based on the maths circle concept. Students are encouraged to go well beyond the topics prescribed by the school curriculum. The maths circle concept, which brings together mathematicians and students to solve problems, was introduced in the U.S. in 1994 by Robert and Ellen Kaplan at Harvard University. This tradition, which originated in the Soviet Union in the 1930s and in Bulgaria before 1907, was brought to the U.S. by émigrés who later established math circles in their communities. At KidMathClub, we know that children between 7 and 11 yo are blossoming into independent thinkers. They’re ready for more challenge, more exploration, and more sparkle in their learning. That’s why our offerings for this age group are as rich, varied, and thoughtfully tailored as the young learners themselves. This is where the magic happens! Our Maths Circles aren’t just lessons – they’re lively, collaborative sessions where children explore mind-bending puzzles, elegant logic, and real mathematical thinking. It’s about inspiring awe, cultivating creativity, and most of all – making maths fascinating.
